Ms. Baumer specializes in products liability and toxic tort litigation. She has represented pharmaceutical and other product manufacturers in serial products liability litigation in state and federal court and in multidistrict litigation proceedings. Ms. Baumer also has experience in government contracts and federal claims litigation, including the representation of savings and loan institutions in the “Winstar-related” goodwill litigation against the federal government.

She has advanced claims against the United States government on behalf of nuclear utilities as well as former manufacturers of asbestos-containing insulation products. In addition, she represents the interests of corporate insurance policyholders and financial institution shareholders in varied litigation matters.

Ms. Baumer served as the Editor-in Chief for the American University Law Review.
