Ms. Pigman focuses her practice on toxic tort and products liability defense. She has experience in appellate and class certification litigation in complex, multi-defendant product liability cases, including tobacco products. She has litigated pharmaceutical cases involving phenylpropanolamine (“PPA”), as well as cases involving medical devices and automobiles. She also has experience in complex commercial litigation, including preparing multi-million dollar cases for trial or arbitration, handling bench trials, and arguing summary judgment and other motions before various courts. As a part of both her products liability and commercial litigation practices, she has worked with expert witnesses in preparation for testimony at depositions and trials, managed large document productions and reviews, and created sophisticated trial graphics. She has also prepared opinion papers for internal and/or public dissemination regarding constitutional, legislative, and strategic matters.
