Ms. Segal is a member of the Firm's Pharmaceutical Products group. She focuses her practice primarily in the area of toxic tort and pharmaceutical products liability defense. She has taken key plaintiff and treater depositions and participated in motions practice resulting in summary judgment on a precedent setting bellwether pharmaceutical defense case. Ms. Segal played an integral role in successfully defending a Firm client in the largest known single tort case in South Carolina history, during which she managed complex filings, worked closely with expert witnesses, and participated in trial preparation.
