Attorneys

Hollingsworth LLP hires experienced lawyers to join the Firm at all levels.  We find that lawyers who have worked at other firms especially appreciate what our Firm uniquely has to offer in terms of rapid advancement in their development of litigation skills, working with clients and opposing counsel, and participating in the courtroom.  The Firm welcomes inquiries from lawyers at all levels.

We participate in several law school minority resume review programs, including those of the University of Virginia Law School and Georgetown University Law Center.  Beginning in 2013, we instituted one-on-one meetings with diversity counselors at law schools such as the Georgetown University Law Center and the George Washington University Law School.

Our practice requires an unusual breadth of writing and oral advocacy skills at trial and appellate levels, and in ADR proceedings.  Our cases often involve complex procedural postures and complex fact patterns (often at the cutting edge of scientific or engineering understanding). In addition our cases often establish the legal precedents in our various litigation specialties.  Since we litigate and try cases nationally, our lawyers must have the ability to relate to a wide variety of judges and jurors in diverse jurisdictions.

Our national representations result in our attorneys publishing widely and conducting seminars and professional courses on a regular basis.

Given our philosophy to recruit talented self-starters, Associates will have greater responsibility in the litigation process earlier in their careers than their peers handling similar matters at larger firms.  The Firm works hard to equip our Associates with the skills to handle such matters at the earliest practicable time.
