Environmental
On April 8, 2015, Judge Vicki Miles-LaGrange of the United States District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma dismissed SAIC Energy, Environment & Infrastructure LLC’s (“SAIC EE&I”) from cases brought by neighboring property owners alleging groundwater contamination at a former industrial site in Oklahoma owned by Halliburton and used to reclaim missile casings. Alexander v. Halliburton et. al., No. CIV-11-1343-M (W.D. Okla. Apr. 8, 2015); Wilmes v. Halliburton et. al., No. CIV-11-1323-M (W.D. Okla. Apr. 8, 2015), Doc. Nos. 95, 183.
Plaintiffs initially sued SAIC EE&I, an environmental contractor hired by Halliburton to conduct groundwater monitoring at the site, but following discovery, agreed to dismissal. Plaintiffs seek personal injury and property damages for diminution in property value and the remaining cases against Halliburton are set for trial in October 2015.
SAIC EE&I is represented by Firm partner Frank Leone.
