Annica Mae Mattus to speak at D.C. Bar's Judicial Clerkship Bootcamp for law students.

Ms. Mattus, who served as a Judicial Clerk to two judges on the D.C. Superior Court, will speak on the panel Clerking 101. The bootcamp is an educational and practical program designed to expose law students to clerking as a career option. Participants will receive an overview of the federal and state application processes and participate in an interactive writing exercise to experience the type of work assigned to law clerks. They will also hear from current and former clerks and learn about the various types of judges, courts, and clerks; clerkship opportunities available during and after law school; and how to prepare an application and resume in order to be a competitive candidate
