Firm partner Kirby Griffis invited to participate in the Second Annual Manne Faculty Forum at George Mason University School of Law.
September 9, 2011
Kirby Griffis will participate in the Second Annual Manne Faculty Forum, sponsored by the Henry G. Manne Program in Law & Economics Studies. Founded in 2010 by the Law & Economics Center, one of the Manne Program's goals is to assist junior faculty in their scholarly endeavors. On September 9, 2011, six GMU School of Law junior faculty will present papers, each to be followed by a discussion with the panel, the purpose of which is to improve the papers through constructive comments. The panel will consist of senior faculty from GMU School of Law, guest panelists, and professors from other universities. This year, there will be two papers on Third-Party Financing of Litigation, a topic about which Mr. Griffis has written and spoken, including at the Firm's 23rd Annual Seminar this past April in a presentation entitled "Follow the Money: Third-Party Investors Bankroll Your Foes".
