Hollingsworth LLP makes record donation to the Legal Aid Society of the District of Columbia.
Amid the 2020 public health emergency and increased awareness of racial inequality, the Firm broke its previous donation record in support of the Legal Aid Society's annual Making Justice Real campaign. Making Justice Real brings together thousands of people throughout Washington, DC to support Legal Aid’s mission to assist in both individual and systemic ways city residents who are living in poverty. This year more than 80 firms and nearly 6,000 donors raised over $3.1 million, not only far surpassing the 2020 campaign goal but doing so in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. We are proud to be a part of the legal community's efforts to assist those in dire need during this unprecedented time.
