MELISSA G. BANEY
Melissa is a rising 3L at Georgetown University Law Center, where she is the Managing Editor of the Food and Drug Law Journal, and a member of the Health Law Society, Outlaw, and the Georgetown Gilbert and Sullivan Society. She received her undergraduate degree, cum laude, and her Masters degree from American University. Last summer Melissa was a Health Law Intern at the O’Neill Institute for National and Global Health Law and Policy.
BRIDGET B. CARMODY
Bridget is a rising 2L at the University of Virginia School of Law, where she is on the Articles Review Board of the Virginia Environmental Law Journal, and where she was the recipient of the Norton Rose Fulbright Best Memorandum Award. She received her undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. Bridget previously was a Policy and Strategic Projects Intern for the City of Knoxville, Tennessee.
ALEXA HALKIAS
Alexa is a rising 3L at William & Mary Law School, where she is the Lead Articles Editor of the William & Mary Law Review, a Legal Practice Fellow, and a member of the Elder & Disability Law Clinic. She received her undergraduate degree, summa cum laude, from West Virginia University. Last summer Alexa was a Legal Intern in the Trial Division of the Missouri State Public Defender’s Office.
KELLY HUTCHINSON
Kelly is a rising 3L at George Washington University Law School, where she is a member of the Federal Communications Law Journal and the Moot Court Board. She received her undergraduate degree, summa cum laude, from Auburn University, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. Last summer she was a Judicial Intern for the Hon. Elizabeth C. Wingo of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia.
JAMIE LUIS LÓPEZ
Jaime is a rising 3L at Georgetown University Law Center, where he is a member of the Georgetown Journal of International Law and the Latin American Law Students Association (LALSA). He received his undergraduate degree, summa cum laude, from Florida State University, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. Jaime is a Legal Intern for the Military Commissions Defense Organization, and last summer he was a Research Assistant at the Human Rights Institute at Georgetown Law.
