Ann Czyzewski practices in the Firm’s Complex Litigation, Pharmaceutical Products, and Toxic Torts & Products Liability groups.
Ms. Czyzewski earned her J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, where she was on the Editorial Board of the Virginia Sports and Entertainment Law Journal and received the Bracewell LLP Appellate Advocacy Best Brief Award. She was a member of the Extramural Moot Court Team and competed in moot court competitions, including the William M. Lile Moot Court Competition.
During law school, Ms. Czyzewski worked in the Housing Clinic at The Legal Aid Justice Center where she helped draft pleadings and argued on behalf of a client in a voucher termination hearing. She worked as a Research Assistant, evaluating the use of strict scrutiny in the equal protection doctrine, analyzing state laws governing standards for discretionary appellate jurisdiction, and drafting a memorandum in support of a U.S. Supreme Court cert petition. She also volunteered at The Rutherford Institute, preparing memoranda assessing government regulations of the right to travel, evidence suppression, and other constitutional and procedural issues.
Ms. Czyzewski graduated summa cum laude from Bellarmine University with a B.A. in Criminal Justice Studies and Philosophy. She was President of the Mock Trial Team and was named top attorney at invitational and regional tournaments. While in college, she worked as an Intern at the Jefferson County Office of Circuit Court Clerk and at the Office of the Commonwealth Attorney, both in Louisville, Ky.
Ms. Czyzewski was a member of the Firm's 2020 Summer Associate class.
