Yuquira Gutierrez practices in the Firm’s Complex Litigation and Toxic Torts & Products Liability groups, where she is a member of the Firm’s trial team engaged in the serial litigation over an EPA-approved herbicide.

Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Gutierrez served as a Staff Attorney at the U.S. Department of Justice, Consumer Protection Branch where she worked in all phases of litigation, assisting in the investigation of criminal or civil fraud, conducting privilege and fact-finding document review, and drafting motions, briefs, and memoranda of law.

Ms. Gutierrez earned her J.D., from the American University Washington College of Law.  During law school, she worked for Fairfax County General District Court as Supervising Deputy Clerk and as Judges’ Legal Assistant, where her duties included serving as liaison between eleven General District Court judges and other agencies, conducting legal research, and assisting in the drafting and editing of a variety of legal documents.

Ms. Gutierrez graduated from George Mason University with a B.A. in Conflict Analysis and Resolution.
