Allison P. Hein is a Staff Attorney practicing in the Firm’s Pharmaceutical Products and Toxic Torts & Products Liability groups.  Her responsibilities include, but are not limited to, legal research and writing, analysis of information for depositions and discovery, and other tasks relating to the defense of mass tort claims in complex litigation.  Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Hein served as Pro Bono Attorney at the Family Court Self-Help Center in Washington, D.C., assisting self-represented litigants with legal assistance in a variety of matters, including divorce, custody, visitation, and child support.

Ms. Hein received her J.D. from American University Washington College of Law and her Masters in International Service from American University School of International Service.  During law school she served as a Student Staff Attorney at the Domestic Violence Clinic, representing and advocating for her clients in civil litigation, including drafting motions and pleadings, presenting opening and closing statements, and conducting fact investigations as well as direct and cross examinations.  She also worked as a paralegal for the Army Judge Advocate General at Grafenwoehr Army Base, Germany and as a Legal Extern for the Air Force Judge Advocate General at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland. 

Ms. Hein graduated from Skidmore College with a B.A. in International Affairs and a B.S. in Management and Business.
