Rachael C. Johnson is an attorney practicing in the Firm’s Complex Litigation, Toxic Torts & Products Liability groups. Her practice includes commercial litigation, claims and disputes involving the areas of complex construction and engineering litigation, as well as breach of contract and business tort claims. She currently serves on the trial team of a multi-party, complex engineering and construction matter.
Ms. Johnson has substantial experience in all aspects of trial and pre-trial litigation, from conducting initial fact discovery to preparing motions on evidentiary and procedural issues. She has authored a wide variety of motions and briefs, including summary judgment, and motions in limine on substantive, procedural, and evidentiary issues, including statutes of limitations, products liability claims, fraud and misrepresentation claims, breach of warranties, and punitive damage claims.
Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Johnson worked on discovery, with experience in case analysis, case trial preparation, and motions and brief writing. She has also worked extensively on transactions and business affairs for a studio network. Additionally, Ms. Johnson served as a senior writer and communications advisor for the Secretary of the U.S. Department of the Interior.
Ms. Johnson received her J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. She has a Masters in Journalism from Columbia University, and graduated, cum laude, from Hampton University with a B.A. in Journalism.
