Monica Overturf practices in the firm’s Complex Litigation, Pharmaceutical Products, and Toxic Torts & Products Liability groups. She drafts pretrial motions including motions for protective order, requests for production and motions for judgment, as well as researches memoranda in preparation for trial.

Ms. Overturf graduated from the University of Virginia School of Law where she was the Submissions Editor of the Journal of Law & Politics. She also served as a Research Assistant and received the Karsh-Dillard Scholarship based on merit. During law school, she worked as a writing assistant for the University of Virginia Writing Center where she advised undergraduate and graduate students on all stages of the writing process. She also interned at the Disability Law Center of Virginia where she researched and wrote a legal manual on special education laws in Virginia.

As a graduate of Northern Arizona University, with a B.S., summa cum laude, in Political Science, Ms. Overturf interned for the Honorable Ann Kirkpatrick at the United States House of Representatives where she researched current legislation and drafted summaries.

Ms. Overturf was a member of the firm’s 2020 Summer Associate class.
