Mallory Ann Phares is a Staff Attorney practicing in the Firm’s Pharmaceutical Products and Toxic Torts & Products Liability groups. As a member of the answer team, her responsibilities include legal research and writing, analysis of information for depositions and discovery, drafting and reviewing pleadings, and other tasks relating to the defense of mass tort claims in complex litigation. Ms. Phares has also worked on the Firm’s document management team, whose responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the identification, review, and production of electronic documents for the Firm's major products liability, toxic tort, pharmaceutical, and other complex litigation. The team ensures that all document productions meet the new e-discovery rules as well as the Firm's exacting QA and QC standards. The team provides cost-effective document management in the increasingly complex e-discovery environment in which our clients find themselves.
Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Phares served as a Law Clerk at the U.S. Department of Justice, Federal Programs Branch, where she primarily worked on major constitutional issues. She also has experience in antitrust litigation, family law, and criminal law.
Ms. Phares received her J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center and her B.A. in Political Science and History from the University of Houston.
